Week Well Done

Ty's barbell

This has been a great week at CrossFit Fenway.  All of our members keep showing up and kicking ass every day.  From Kevin getting his first muscle-up, to Ty deadlifting more than one barbell ordinarily holds through conventional methods, and everyone in between, great job.  All of you are what CrossFit Fenway is all about.

Tomorrow is Friday, but we don’t have a girl for you.  I can’t in good conscience subject you all to more than a mile of running in below zero wind chill.  I know if we left the workout as planned for tomorrow you would all get out there and kill it.  Instead, we’ve put together another way for you to work in the overhead squats you worked on earlier today.  Happy Friday.

  1. Woo hoo! The end of week 2 (for me) and I still can’t believe how much I love these insanely intense, awesome workouts. : ) Thanks all CFF team for putting all this together and thanks to the rest of you for the amazingly supportive, encouraging community.

I can’t wait to be able to do my first full muscle up. 🙂

  2. Thank YOU, Shawn – this is something you and I (and everyone else here) are creating together!

Erin: looks like 200kg. Maybe 210kg. It’s a whole boatload, regardless.

    Today: bar@30kg; 9 rounds + 3 kb swings!

  3. What a great week! I was able to do my second workout as Rx’d and press more weight than I expected. Thanks Stacy and Eric for the encouragement.

  4. WOD: 10 rounds (1.5 pood kb, 30kg bar)

Thanks JT and Stacey for pushing me during the workout. Another “suckfest” down in the journal. I love it.
