Quick Post for 5/4

Just got back from the Sox game.  The long national nightmare is over, the losing streak ended, as the Sox beat the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 17-8.  Buchholz didn’t pitch great, but held on long enough to get the win, and the offense clearly came to life.  Scott Schoeneweis showed very little, and almost made things interesting, surrendering 4 runs in the ninth.  The homestand continues Tuesday, so there won’t be any parking at CrossFit Fenway during evening classes.  See you all tomorrow for stretching, snatching, and swinging.CFF_040710-2271

  1. Crossfitting at 5:30 am is an interesting adventure. I fell on my ass twice snatching the empty bar, but then put up 35kg. Then during the WOD I thought I was just having a slowww day with my 1 pood swings and 3/4 pood lunges….but in reality I grabbed a 1.5 pood for the swings and 1 pood for the walking. They’re all round with handles…and who wants to read numbers in the morning? Thankfully I was rewarded with the return of drip coffee.

  2. 5:38, 1 pood, because it’s what I had at home. Boo-urns. Summer couldn’t come soon enough. Then I’ll be in with the 5:30 crowd!!
