On Thursday we’ve got a double dose of overhead squats. First we’re going to keep working the form with PVC or a light, manageable load. After we get through the warm up, and make sure everyone’s form is looking good, it’s on to the platforms for some heavy sets. Remember to stick your butt back, and keep that bar over the middle of your foot. Your body moves to keep the bar over the balance point, not the other way around.

(Kettlebell recommended for SDHP (2 pood/1.5 pood), scale up with barbell)

My bad yesterday, I had the Sox rotation mixed up. Beckett went tonight, and Buchholz is going tomorrow. Of course if Darnell McDonald keeps hitting this well it shouldn’t matter who’s on the hill. The Red Sox 10 game homestand continues Thursday, so parking will not be available during the evening classes.
