Wednesday evening at 5 PM CrossFit Fenway is hosting an Olympic Weightlifting seminar with EC Synkowski and James Hobart.  Hopefully you’ve already e-mailed Stacey and reserved your spot.  If you haven’t, there’s still a few spaces available, so call, e-mail, or just stop by to see if there’s any room left for you to come in and get some excellent coaching on the clean, jerk, and snatch.

Because of the Oly seminar regularly scheduled evening classes have been canceled.  Those of you attending our morning or noon classes are getting a special mid-week, named workout treat, the Filthy Fifty.

June 30th, 2010

50 Box jumps (24″/20″)
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 KB swings, 1 pood

50 Back extensions

The CrossFit Fenway Endurance program is filling up fast.  Be sure and e-mail Eric to get more information, and reserve your spot.

The Sox short, two game homestand against the Rays wraps up Wednesday, so there will be no parking Wednesday evening at CrossFit Fenway.

***CrossFit Fenway will be closed Monday, July 5th***

  1. Great job by all who showed up this morning. We had a handful of no shows, but those of you who braved the elements hit it hard.

The noon class is now open to all members, no reservation required, but come ready to work. The morning classes set the bar high.

    1. 32:59 (scaled 12kg KB, tucks, #10wb and singles.)
Big thanks to Eric for keeping us moving, I “hit a wall” during wall ball and Eric got me through. 🙂

    2. Scrappy (f/k/a Lauren)

I saw this WOD posted this morning while I was at work and HAD to come across town for the 12n session. Definitely worth it.

Filthy Fifty — 33:55 (scaled boxes, tucks, 8# wall ball and singles). It is in my nature to not like needing to scale, but scaled beats DNF anyday.

Awesome work everyone in the 12!

    3. 34:55 Rx – & I puked shortly after….not sure if it was from the expired protein shake I had just before class or the workout itself, either way… I hit the target
