Making CFF Memberships More Valuable

Happy New Year!  Here at CrossFit Fenway we’re always looking for ways to improve our program, our facilities, and your overall experience.  As a part of that, we’re making your membership more flexible and making it easier for you to get the most out of it!  We’re moving to a weekly 6 day schedule (Monday through Saturday), and adding a second Saturday session.  What does this mean to you as a member of our awesome community?

Your ZenPlanner account now automatically has one extra class attendance allowed per week.  The weekday schedule will remain as it has been, with small, capped classes.  We’re adding a second uncapped “Invasion-style” workout on Saturdays, to give you more consistency and more choices – with the caveat that we’re now asking you to reserve this class as well, just so we can keep track.  Your extra class attendance may be used to continue attending on Saturdays, or you can come in for an extra weekday class.  The choice is yours.

All we’re asking is that you now register for the invasion workouts, just as you would one of our weekday classes.

Our Gold (Unlimited) Memberships are still unlimited – you can come in for any class – and Gold Members have greater access to the CFF facilities.  In addition, Gold Members also have full access to classes at CrossFit Somerville, making it even more convenient to get your WOD in wherever you are!

This is going to be another big year for CrossFit Fenway, and we’ve got more planned to make it better than ever.  Thanks for being part of our family!

  1. HBBS – 127kg
WOD – 6+7 Rx+ @ 40kg (I was not planning on scaling up but there were not enough plates).

Great to be back. Happy New Year!

  2. Jen K you are my HERO!

HBBS – 55kg (unremarkable really, just ran out of time because I was running my mouth too much this morning).

WOD – 4 + 25 RX. Why was that so hard???

  3. HBBS – 115 kg
WOD – 5+39 Rx. I can’t tell you know frustrating it is to miss completing a round by 1 frikken sit-up.

WOD felt really good.. I wonder if it was because I was wearing my brand new Again Faster wrist straps that I got for Christmas during my push presses.

  4. HBBS: 109 kg
    WOD: 4 + 31 Rx.
Push presses were easy because my sit-ups were so slow that my strength recovered. Need to work on sit-up speed.

  5. HBBS 125kg and got 5 rounds + 2 reps. This workout was deffinetly geared toward my strengths. I guess I rx+ by a couple of pounds because 35kg is not a even number at 77lbs so I just used 80lbs. But it was fun as always!!!

P.S. I miss my home in the box!!!

  6. HBBS — 60kg (PR for 5), failed after 2 reps at 62kg.

WOD — 5+37 Rx…predictably went into seizure-mode on the PP and was gassed quickly.

Love seeing the place full again now that the holidays are over!
