Thursday’s conditioning workout features the deadlift matched up in a triplet with a couple more technical movements in pistols and double unders. The short reps of a heavy lift favor a bigger, stronger athlete, while the other elements are generally better suited to a smaller, quicker individual. This contradiction of movements found within the same workout is not only common in CrossFit, but we seek it out. Practicing combinations such as this are key in creating a broad, inclusive fitness, and more well-rounded athletes. Be well rounded.
