Kelly’s a grinder.  While lots of other girls are in the 5 to 10 minute or less time domain, with Kelly you’ve got at least 20 minutes of work ahead of you.  So while you want to move fast, it’s more important to just keep moving.100_1168

Complete 5 round for time of:
400m Run
30 Box jumps (24″/20″)
30 Wall ball shots (20#/14#)

Friday is day 8 of the 100 Burpee Challenge, so if you want to buy in now, it’s still relatively affordable at just 36 burpees.

The Sox are out of town at Baltimore on Friday, so we’ve got parking (as well as plenty of room for wall ball and running) all day at CrossFit Fenway

  2. WOW. My first time ever doing wall balls and they were more difficult than i expected. I started to get the hang of them in the later rounds but at that point i was too winded to string a bunch together. Looking foward to this challenge again after a little more wall ball practice. WOD – 29:30 Rx

  3. I need to work on wall ball. I must have still been hung up on last night’s game, because I was shooting the ball like it was a 20# basketball.

  4. WOD- 38:41 Rx ..I agree with Justin…It was my first time doing wall balls and they are way harder than I ever would have thought. Hopefully next time will be easier..

    Even though Kelly absolutely sucked, this morning was probably one of my favorite so far at CFF. During yesterday’s workout, I was doing pullups with a purple and 2 red bands.. and then somehow today I got my first unassisted! I even strung a few together.. Best feeling ever.. and THEN, I watched Tiff get HER first pull ups, and Shruj get his first muscle-up!! Awesome job by everyone!!

  5. This was my favorite day so far too!! I finally felt like I pushed myself to the limit – almost saw stars at the end hehehe and my shirt was so soaked through i had to jog home in order to not to be too cold!! 🙂 i think i had almost the longest time to finish for the day, but still great fun! 😀 everyone is so nice!! thanks guys!

    That was great – totally wiped me out. I also sweated more than any other workout so far – and was still soaked when I got home over an hour later!! Would love to do wall ball again and try it with a slightly higher weight.

    Maybe we can install mirrors at the corner of Van Ness & Kilmarnock — 2 of us crashed during the 400m run. 🙂
