Keep Gettin’ Better

I spent my Sunday listening to Bill Nye the Science Guy and getting a sunburn at my brother’s graduation (congrats Ben!).  It’s that time of year.  It’s a great time to look back at all that you’ve achieved, but also look towards the future.  Many of you have gotten first pull-ups, first muscle-ups, set PRs, and done things you didn’t think possible a short time ago.  Now it’s important that you not rest on your laurels, pick another skill or area you want to improve in, and get after it.  We’re proud of what you’ve done, but excited to see what you’re going to do next.SCS_CFF_051010-5432

10 Dumbbell thrusters (45#/35#)
20 Pull-ups
30 Kettlebell swings (24kg/16kg)
40 Burpees
50 Squats

Parking will be available all day Monday, as the Sox are still on the road.

Programming Note: There will be no evening classes this Friday, May 21st, as we’ll be headed to Albany to cheer on Stacey, Erica, and other friends of CFF as they compete in the Northeast Regionals for the CrossFit Games.

  1. WOD: 7:12 Rx. Boy were those burpees slow, by far the most difficult part of this workout. Great job Basil hope to see you agin.

  2. A fantastic quote to get you through your burpees, courtesy of Eric…. “Get Down! I guarantee you will get back up.” I chuckled when he said it to Shrujal today, but it became my mantra when it was my turn to hit that 40. 🙂
