Chubbs is right, it is all in the hips. Our hips are the engine that drives us as athletic machines. Whether you want to crush it off the tee like Happy Gilmore, or throw a punch like Apollo Creed (warning: excellent training montage), you need explosive hip extension. Your legs may feel leaden, your arms burning, but harness the power of your hips, and you will move efficiently through Thursday’s metcon.
