Home Game

Get your home greens on!  The second event of the 2011 CrossFit Games Open has been announced, and CrossFit Fenway is very excited for the opportunity to host the workout this Saturday, April 2nd, with the first heat going off shortly after 1 PM.

Heat assignments for athletes and judges will be announced Friday, and there will be no invasion this Saturday morning.  Local athletes, judges and spectators are encouraged to use public transportation, but if you need to drive, we recommend carpooling.

  1. HPC: 90kg
    WOD: 6:53 subbed HSPU for pistols to save my knee for the weekend. First time doing butterfly pullups in a WOD, good times.

  2. HPC: 45kg. Got 50 for 1 but really need to work on my slowpoke elbows.

    WOD: 12:11 with a 20″ box, red on pull-ups and purple on pistols.

      1. If by awesome you mean “had a 15ft runway leading to the box before jumping and doing the freddy in mid-air with a terrified look on my face, hoping to not crash but being mildly reassured by my bulky shin guards,” why then yes my progress on box jumps is totally awesome! 🙂

  3. HPCs: 20kg, stretching out my wrist

    WOD: 7:09 with 24″ box jumps (jumping over the box felt like a great way to re-break my wrist, will wait a few more weeks before attempting those), green pull-ups

    I actually have no clue what the time was on this, but have picked rowing as one of a few goats to target.

  5. Hpc: a questionable 40kg

    Wod: 7:34 w/ red band on pullups and purple banded pistols. I’m so close to unbanding pull ups I can taste it.
