You don’t understand cardio until you’ve done Helen

Helen is one of the benchmark workouts that doesn’t look too bad on paper. It’s only 3 rounds, only 400 meters of running, only 21 kettlebell swings, 1.5 pood isn’t that heavy, and it’s only 12 pull-ups. True enough, Helen is not a slow girl (check out this video of Brendon Mahoney from CrossFit Atlanta WMV/MOV). Your lungs will be burning, your grip will smoked, and you may be questioning your own sanity. Aim high on this one, and do everything as close to prescribed as you can. This is a test, and you will have another date with Helen in the future.
