Just typing that title makes me a feel a little ill. Thrusters, even at a moderate weight can be a crushing movement. The front squat, push press combo is made that much more devastating when any kind of significant weight is loaded on the bar, and if you decide to break up the work, it just means an extra time you’ve got to clean that weight up off the ground. Tuesday’s challenging, little metcon features ring dips, and some heavy thrusters, but it’s only 5 at a time. Don’t break them up. Get ready for a hot and heavy Tuesday at CrossFit Fenway.

The Red Sox are back home, and done with the National League…for now. They’re hosting the Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday, who are trailing the Sox by a game in the race for the Wild Card, and experiencing some intrasquad turmoil. Because of all this baseball action, there will be no parking Tuesday evening at CrossFit Fenway.
