Half Angie, Full Speed

The full version of Angie (100 pull-ups, 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats) may be a large volume of reps, but it can be done by the extremely fit in around 10 minutes, and getting it done in under 20 minutes is an excellent and very reasonable goal.

We’re programming half the work Tuesday, so you can go even faster.  The big numbers in front of each movement may make you think this is a slow one, and you can pace it, maybe even stop for a water/chalk/tape break.  This is not the case, so get it out of your head.  Not only is it less total reps tomorrow, but that also means you will be less taxed going from one movement to the next, so completing this in less than half the time it takes to do the full version is the expectation.  Attack it, and I think you’ll all be in under the 20 minute cap.

  1. Bench Press – 102 kg
WOD – 9:09 Rx – need work on my pull ups…I want to be able to do them like Aaron!

  2. Traveling in Virginia for the week (and perhaps the month). Today for our WOD, we only did strength. Strange having to convert kilos to pounds.

    Front Squat 5-5-5-5-5: 185 lbs.

And I kinda, sorta missed the normal WOD.
