Holding on to the bar is going to play a large part in how fast this workout gets done. Once your hands grab the pull up bar challenge yourself to not come off. We programmed the thrusters light so there is no reason to put them down. The light, high rep thrusters are just as much a mental challenge as physical. The weight never gets heavy enough that we can’t move it, we just lose our breath and allow the mental demons to crawl into our minds and tell us to put the bar down. As CrossFitters we need to become comfortable being uncomfortable and putting the bar down or coming off of the bar are bad habits we all need to break. Have fun and move fast.
