Fight Gone Bad Recap

We had a great turnout for Fight Gone Bad 6 this past weekend.  It’s our community that makes events like this really special, and the energy at CrossFit Fenway was amazing.  Thank you to everyone who came out in support of the athletes and the cause.  All of your efforts and donations have raised $3,465 as of this writing, and there’s still time to raise more.  If you have a fundraising goal, say a certain $150 t-shirt, that you’re a little short of, you have until 9 PM this Friday, September 23rd to get there.

  1. Jerk: 40kg which i think is a PR

    WOD: 10:07 Rx. Those front squats got really difficult and I take way too much time resetting for my cleans.

  2. Split jerk: 70kg (ugly form, but got it up. Need to get under it more)

    WOD: 7:24 rx
    Quick and tough workout. Cleans need to be unbroken next time. Awesome job by the 6pm. Lots of PRs and RXs.

    Also, awesome work by everyone who did FGB6. I’m sorry I couldn’t participate this year, but I’m glad CFF had such a great showing. Great work!

  3. Split Jerk – 55kg. My shoulder hasn’t felt that good going overhead in a long time. Yay!

    WOD – 11:22. Dang my metcons need work!

    6:52- subbed jumping air squats for burpees – no more burpees for awhile!

    I liked this work out… legs felt a little sleepy on first set of box jumps.
