Festive Fifty: Wedding Edition

We’re celebrating Stacey and Matt’s pending nuptials a couple days early at CrossFit Fenway.  Since we can’t all go to Jamaica to help them celebrate in person, we’re doing the next best thing, running another Festive (Filthy) Fifty in their honor.  It’s an abbreviated schedule tomorrow, with only 2 classes at 6:30 AM and 6 PM.  You don’t need to sign up in advance, and there is no attendance cap on these 2 classes, so you can just show up and get filthy.022210-8748

Earlier today a few friends stopped by to try out tomorrow’s main site WOD.  Ian from Again Faster captured it all on camera, and put it together for your viewing pleasure.  Check out our gym on the main site (WMV/MOV), you can even spot me and Patrick struggling through this beast of a workout a couple times in there.

Parking is available all day Thursday at CrossFit Fenway.  The Sox are playing the rubber game of their series with Minnesota.  Last time out Tim Wakefield became the oldest pitcher to start a game for the Red Sox, he’s looking to become the oldest pitcher to win a game for the team, and pick up career win 176 this time out.

  1. Can’t make it Thursday but I had to comment on how amazing that video is . . . speechless. Wow. I feel pretty awesome about the progress I’m making but it’s nothing like what I just saw . . . something to strive for! 🙂

  2. Good thing we’re not celebrating Tax Day instead.

Hey, if you want a laugh in a video, look at the mainsite vid from yesterday:

The Beach WOD from Affiliate Gathering in Miami features Yours Truly getting ridden like a pony, by none other than Trainer Steve. Of course, wearing our CrossFit Fenway shirts. (Keep your eyes open just over halfway through to see Steve’s goofy grin.)
