Jumping rope is a great way to improve speed, agility, and coordination as well as a great exercise for working on improving your running stride. Double-unders take quickness to the next level, taxing the entire body. Even some very accomplished CrossFitters struggle with double-unders. Practicing the skill makes for a great warm up, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do, because we won’t get better unless we work on it.
We’ll be drilling it tomorrow and taking it on in the WOD.
We’re all gonna go fast.

Stacey….I am at a loss for words.
I think I might have to join in on this one out on the west coast today!!!
Sounds good Paul. Be sure to post your results, so we all have something to compare to.
19:49, as RXd… including a few minutes to bandage my torn up hand. Tore off a callus in the last round of pullups today. First bloody palm in all my days as a CrossFitter. Time for another sentimental blog entry, I guess. 😀
JT, Poetically title it, Flagship Hand Rip on Secondy-First Pull Ups. 😉
Winner.
Hello Fenway friends! I left Boston a year and a half ago (reluctantly) for a job transfer. I heard of you guys yesterday on the main site and am very excited for your BOX! My heart strings are plucking! If I ever return to my home away from home, i will be doing WODs with you all. For now though, I must brave this 70 degree weather with my Socal affiliate(Redlands, CA).
Enjoy those double unders! I did my first ever 10 straight today, must say i am pretty proud of that!
Sincerely,
Sean
Thanks, Sean! We’re excited too… and you’re welcome to drop in here next time you’re in town. Try an Invasion on a Saturday!
