Different is Fun

Change is good.  Constantly varied is one of the 3 terms used to answer the question “what is CrossFit?”.  When a workout has a movement not typically found in CrossFit it sucks a little less, and can even become more fun than work.  Flipping tires, swinging a sledge, or handling oddly shaped objects are all fun ways to mix up the typical flavor you might get from CrossFit workouts (thanks to our programming savant Patrick we get inspiration to vary our workouts with some regularity, if that makes sense).  Tomorrow’s WOD includes swinging a kettlebell, and dumbbell push presses, but we’re also tossing in something a little different, broad jumps to get from one side of the gym to the other.  Hopefully you enjoy this small twist, and we can keep the fresh WOD ideas coming.100_0495

Broad Jump 2 lengths of gym floor

15 Kettlebell swings

Broad Jump 2 lengths of gym floor

15 Dumbbell push presses
