The 2011 CrossFit Games Open is finally coming to a close. I wouldn’t say it’s been the best 7 weeks of CrossFit I’ve had, but going through a competition “season” was a new, at times enjoyable experience. I’ve definitely learned a lot over the last couple of months, and I hope all of our competitors take something positive from this time too. At the very least, all who set out to get through the 6 workouts can hold their heads high, having not just survived, but thrived, helping propel CrossFit Fenway to a top ranking in the Northeast, and a likely berth to the Regional team competition.
Friday is your chance to try the last workout of the competition. It’s on the short side, but not so short that you can mindlessly sprint forward without a plan. Decide how you want to attack it, give it hell, see how you stack up, and maybe we’ll see you out there competing in next year’s Open.
