Commercial Appeal

Not sure why I didn’t earlier, but for whatever reason, these commercials from our friends at Again Faster, featuring a very familiar gym, weren’t posted.  I’ve got the direct link out there now, so watch, enjoy, and let Patrick and Ian know how cool they are next time you see them.

Thursday’s workout is also very appealing.  Heavy back squats, and another chance to beat your previous time on the Baseline workout.  What could be better?

  1. 105kg LBBS

4:35 subbed assisted ring dips for push ups and ring rows for pull ups (grumble, grumble, stoopid rotator cuff)

Nice to see the 5:30 gang today. Have a wonderful day all! 🙂

  2. great to see you to shawn (and the rest of the gang)

Basline 4:20 Rx, 5 second improvement was not what i was looking for. Fatigued and disappointed

  3. Great job to the 6:30 class….great way to start the day!

    LBBS- 120kg –

WOD- 4:20 rx (29 second improvement from last time:)

  4. Can’t quite believe this is the same body…
    LBBS in April: 40kg
    LBBS today: 60kg
First time doing this baseline–felt great.

  5. Good to work with you today, Sandon and Sam.

Squat 130 kg, need to work on depth

Baseline 4:18. No previous time for comparison.

  6. LBBS – 90kg (failed on a bonus attempt at 100kg – should have had it!)

Baseline – 5:59 Rx (1 full minute faster than my first baseline from about 10 weeks ago, which was also my first Crossfit workout ever)

Have an awesome Memorial Day Weekend everyone!

  7. First baseline workout in March – 13 minutes and change, push-ups from my knees (because I was so tired) and I threw up after…..Tonight, I had an adrenaline fueled 4:17rx! The bad news is that I don’t know if I can replicate that performance!

    LBBS – 120kg

    1. That, sir, is an excellent example of what can result from a proper understanding of intensity and having the confidence that you are capable. Spectacular results, sir. Stay with it. You’ll get stronger and faster still.

  8. Second workout back after a month off for finals, capstone, and graduation.

    LBBS: 120kg
    WOD Baseline: 5:05

Probably could have taken another 15-20 “mental block” seconds off of my baseline, but after a month off, I felt better than expected.

    Tomorrow starts PaleoExperiment Day #1!

  9. LBBS: 62kg (PR)
Total: 3:39 w/ purple band. My last one was 3:37, but I used my knees for situps and a green band.
