Not sure why I didn’t earlier, but for whatever reason, these commercials from our friends at Again Faster, featuring a very familiar gym, weren’t posted. I’ve got the direct link out there now, so watch, enjoy, and let Patrick and Ian know how cool they are next time you see them.
Thursday’s workout is also very appealing. Heavy back squats, and another chance to beat your previous time on the Baseline workout. What could be better?

First baseline workout in March – 13 minutes and change, push-ups from my knees (because I was so tired) and I threw up after…..Tonight, I had an adrenaline fueled 4:17rx! The bad news is that I don’t know if I can replicate that performance!
LBBS – 120kg
That, sir, is an excellent example of what can result from a proper understanding of intensity and having the confidence that you are capable. Spectacular results, sir. Stay with it. You’ll get stronger and faster still.

Probably could have taken another 15-20 “mental block” seconds off of my baseline, but after a month off, I felt better than expected.
