Christine

Attack!  Christine is a hard-rowing, unbroken-deadlift, box-jump-rebounding sprint.  No need for pacing, this is an opportunity to really get after a workout.  The expectation that Christine be completed in less than 10 minutes is very reasonable.  A while back we programmed an interval spin on Christine.  If you’ve never done Christine before you can use this as a guideline as you scale for speed.

I was really happy with my rowing today. Proper form helps so much. Almost had nothing left for the box jumps after the row and deadlifts. Also, AWESOME job by Kyle with the one legged box jumps.

This was the first WOD I ever Rx’d, so she will always be special to me. Looking back, I think I short-changed the BW the first time (50kg was kind of wishful thinking). Not happy with my 2nd and 3rd rounds on the erg, but pleased overall.

Off to Paris for a week, keep getting after it!

  3. Great to see many of you this morning!

Last night I checked out the CFF team list for Fight Gone Bad, and while we are 16 strong, I know there are many of you out there that are likely thinking about it but haven’t signed up yet. Thus, my plug: FGB last year was a really, really fun day. It’s exciting to watch all the heats before and after you do the workout, and you can score keep for your friends, and possibly even make some new ones! It’s one of our best community days all year, and trust that you’ll want to be a part of it. Finally, don’t be scared of the workout. I was a CrossFit infant when I did it last year and it’s totally scalable.

    So. See you there.
