This weekend is jam-packed with special events at CrossFit Fenway! If you like acrobatics, strength, laughter, sweat, construction, or breaking stuff, we probably have a great event for you.
THIS SUNDAY: March 7th, CrossFit Fenway is pleased to host a very special workshop! From 1:00pm to 3:30pm, Sunday.
Partner Acrobatic Conditioning
with Ellen Waylonis and Roger May

Why only lift free weights when you can lift your friends too? One part circus, one part strength training, this workshop combines partner conditioning and acrobatic skills to create a fun, intense, and entirely original workout. Working in pairs and small groups, you’ll learn circus-style tricks and skills, as well as partner conditioning techniques (partner push-ups!) to build stability, strength, and flexibility.
Come alone and meet new friends, or bring a partner. No prior acrobatic experience required. $30 per person for this 2.5 hour class.
If you’ve ever wondered about “that circus stuff” I’m always talking about, this is a great way to get a taste and play with some fun people!
And that’s just Sunday. Saturday’s a packed day, too!
Saturday 10am: INVASION. The usual antics ensue. Last weekend’s Pet Rocks were great, who know’s what’s up this time?
Saturday Noon (after Invasion): Work Day! We’re going to be doing some light demolition on a couple special projects around the place as part of our continuing project to make CrossFit Fenway ever more awesome. Bring your wrench to Invasion and stick around afterwards! (Really, please bring a wrench. Even a socket wrench, or adjustable. You’ll need it.)
See you around this weekend! Who’s coming out to play?
Where do I sign up?
Consider yourself signed! Who else? 🙂
(If it looks like it’ll get too crowded, we’ll reserve slots in the future… but seeing as how this is our first workshop, I’m going to try just doing it open and casual.)
Oh, the workshop. Really I wanted to sign up for the demolition, but acrobatics sounds good too.
What other tools do you need? I can bring a hammer drill and a number of other hand/power tools if needed.
I think we’re all set on other tools, Shawn – but we’ll find out Saturday! 🙂
