Barbara

Looks can be deceiving.  Each round of Barbara looks harmless enough, and you even get a break between each one, but those short sprints catch up with you quick, and can become pretty crushing.  For best effect scale push-ups and pull-ups to be broken up as little as possible, or completely unbroken.   My last experience with Barbara ended with me doing squats outside, so I wouldn’t make a mess on the gym floor, and left me not quite right for at least a couple weeks after.  Enjoy!

  1. 40:30 RX

Barbara is one of my favorites. Last time I did this in March, I didn’t make it under the 45 min cap. I was psyched to finish it up this time. Great work by the 6:30 class!

  2. This is my first go at Barbara, and I was really REALLY dreading this one but it actually went by much faster than I thought it would.

46:55 rx. my pull ups sucked more than usual today and push ups are still really hard for me.

shout out to amy, who in the middle of her work out still manages to cheer on everyone else in class. thanks for the encouragement!
