An AM Cameo

I hope you’re all as excited as I am to be at CrossFit Fenway bright and early on Monday morning.  Not only do I get to make a special guest appearance and see all of you wonderful people who I haven’t seen in a bit, but I also get to coach a couple of my favorite movements.  It’s going to be a fun morning, just make sure you get your chest to the deck on the push-ups.

Fight Gone Bad has raised more than $2 million in its first four editions. This year LIVESTRONG, Wounded Warrior Project, and the CrossFit Foundation are benefiting from the fundraising efforts. On Saturday, September 25th we’ll be running our heats. CrossFit Fenway has raised a combined $7,876. Registration to join the fight as part of the CrossFit Fenway team is open until Wednesday, September 22nd.

The Sox are home Monday, so there’s no free parking available during evening classes.

    WOD : 11:30 Rx , this workout should be named the Yosh special, I have a feeling he’s going to go sub- 10

  2. FS — 35kg x 3, failed on #3 at 40kg.

    WOD — 19:20Rx…slow as hell but it felt good to have the Rx once I peeled myself off the floor. Thanks 6:30 crew (and early 5:30 finishers) for dragging me through the end!

    1. Amazing work Scrappy!! I have to work on my push-ups. Eric was on me for Chest-to-Deck…and rightly so! They were hard even with the box. One day………

    22:08 Rx(!) Just like murph, my last 30 push-ups devolved into basically just doing the worm, but whatevs I rx-ed the crap outta that mofo.

  5. Speaking of Cameo Appearances, I’ll be coaching the evening tonight. I heart me some front squats and deadlifts, so I’m excited to share them with you!

    also, nice to do the required “break” at the end of class again.

    WOD: 22:00 Rx.
    This one goes in the “it looks easier on paper” category. Push ups were fine, but I really need to work on my dead lifts. I also did this somewhere besides Crossfit Fenway and did not have the luxury of bumper plates. That 135# hit the ground hard 150 times.

    – I swear to god throughout this entire workout I heard Justin’s voice screaming, “break 10 you p****!!” Haha. Thanks for the push Justin!

    Eric was on my ass the whole time, he was cruising!

    WOD: Rx wt, DNF’d at 23mins. Got 7 rds plus 15 dl, 5 pushups.

    Need more pushups. And I’ve already been working on them. Argh.
