As I was sitting soaked in my own sweat in front of CrossFit Fenway on this beautiful Wednesday, an older gentleman walking to the Red Sox game jokingly asked me “how’s the air conditioning working?”.  I replied that it was just fine, and it was.  We don’t have air conditioning at CrossFit Fenway, or a lot of other amenities like showers (yet).  We take care of things ourselves.  It was hot in the gym today, so we opened up the doors to the far back room, pointed fans towards the main gym floor, opened the front door, and turned off the lights.100_1117 It did the job.  Bottom line, all the extras aren’t what make a gym great, it’s all of you that come in and kick ass every day.  It’s hot, there’s traffic, and we don’t always have parking, but it can’t stop any of you from showing up and doing work.

    1. See, I was always under the impression that it was the “way back.” Of course, that might confuse some people with a certain machine of Peabody’s.
