I credit 75% of my improvement to Zander’s running mantra. Ask him for tips. 🙂

    Nice work 5:30!

    1. I think 75% goes to you training so hard.

And following your suggestion last week, here is this week’s sappy invasion poem:

Black weight presses down on black matt.
      Unrelenting, newtonian force
Pulls down with unfazed strength towards the core of the earth.
A stark smear of white chalk offsets the black of the weight.
It reminds us that someone once offset that force and moved the weight Skyward…
And that someone will do so again.

  2. This was my first go with Abbate, I was amazed (but not surprised) at how long the C&Js took me. 31:43 @ 40kg/88.1849#

In your honor, SGT Abbate. Semper Fi.

  3. i saw scrappy putting up 40kg and jen k putting me up over her head and i was utterly amazed! way to kill it!

never done this one before. 28:48 at 30kg. second round of C&J was really, really slow.

  4. 28:24 @ 60kg

this wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be (a bit shocked i was under 30 minutes, must have been marcos and chris d setting the pace). will go for 65/70kg next time.

  5. 37:24. 20kg on the C&J. Should have gone way heavier but was afraid the run would tire me out too much. There’s always next time.

  6. 29:05 @60kg

I believe my time in July was 27:54 @ 55kg. Probably would help if I could count to 21 because I think I threw some extra reps in there. Great work everyone!
